C-FB Kids Cards Goal

The goal of C-FB Kids Cards is twofold:

• Showcase the artistic and creative talents of Carrollton-Farmers Branch, TX ISD elementary students
• Generate revenues from card sales to fund C-FB ISD Educational Foundation programs, including student scholarships, teacher grants and more.

About C-FB Kids Cards

C-FB Kids Cards features the imaginative artwork of Carrollton-Farmers Branch, TX elementary students. Supervised by art teachers, these wonderful creations depict seasonal holidays, special occasions, freestyle art and more.

New cards and themes will be introduced throughout the year.

All cards can be personalized and customized, including the addition of company logos.

All selected artwork will be featured on C-FB Kids Cards. Each card will depict the name and age of the student.

Contest winners will be recognized at community events and will receive framed certificates, including their greeting card creations.

C-FB Kids Cards is a program of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Educational Foundation.

C-FB ISD Educational Foundation

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Educational Foundation offers annual grants and scholarships to teachers and students that:

• Promote academic excellence
• Stimulate creative thinking
• Encourage innovation
• Broaden life experiences
• Enrich classroom teaching

Since it’s inception in 1997, the C-FB ISD has awarded over $1.6 million in grants and scholarships.

The C-FB ISD Educational Foundation is a recognized 501 (c) (3) organization with the stated mission of raising and distributing supplemental funds within the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District.

Saluting Fine Arts

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD student art greeting card project not only showcases the art talents of elementary-age students, but also salutes the district’s nationally acclaimed Fine Arts Programs.

C-FB ISD ART

• Art students have over 300 pieces of work displayed in downtown Dallas.
• One art student won the international Saul Bellow award for jewelry making.

C-FB ISD MUSIC

• For the 5th time, the C-FB Fine Arts Department was selected as one of the top 100 districts in the nation for music education.
• C-FB ISD musicians travel often, with recent performances in Chicago and Austin.
• School bands have consistently done well at the Texas State Marching Band Competition.

C-FB THEATER

• C-FB ISD groups have made the finals in One Act Play competition for the past seven years.
• One theater group won the 4A Texas State Championship.
• In Speech and Debate, one student placed 6th in the nation in Extemporaneous Commentary Speaking, while another student placed 40th nationally.
